A few tornadoes likely with a couple intense tornadoes possible, Scattered damaging wind gusts to 70 mph possible

SITUATION
A fast-moving line of thunderstorms will track eastward across the watch area through the evening. Conditions are favorable for a few intense storms embedded within the line, capable of tornadoes and damaging wind gusts. The tornado watch area is approximately along and 90 statute miles east and west of a line from 35 miles northeast of Monroe LA to 55 miles southwest of Intracoastal City LA. PRECAUTIONS
A Tornado Watch means conditions are favorable for tornadoes and severe thunderstorms in and close to the watch area. Persons in these areas should be on the lookout for threatening weather conditions and listen for later statements and possible warnings.
